The Institute of Trichologists provides a two and a half year distance learning Level 5 course backed by clinical practice, accredited by NCFE.
The Institute of Trichologists is considered the foremost professional association for Trichology. We are the only UK organisation to provide certified Level 5 Trichology education that incorporates two years of clinical practice and training. Our course includes 126 hours of hands-on patient interaction and clinical treatments, and we are the only UK organisation whose register of Trichologists is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority. We also have students and Trichologists in over 20 countries across Europe and worldwide.
Patients, service users and the public can now choose a Trichologist belonging to a register vetted and approved by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care (the Authority), an independent statutory body, accountable to Parliament.
